Make learning how to code one of your New Year’s Resolutions

My Twitter feed was blowing up this morning with tweets such as “My New Year’s resolution is to learn to code with Codecademy in 2012! Join me. http://codeyear.com/ #codeyear” and I couldn’t be more happier. No, I don’t work for CodeAcademy.com nor am affiliated with them in any way, but the fact that so many people (51,705 as of this post) have pledged to learn to code in 2012 makes me think that 2012 will be a very special year. I can see why Tiny Tower was the 2011 iPhone Game of the Year

While I was browsing the Apple App Store on my iPhone 4s for a new game to play over the holidays I noticed that Apple released their 2011 iPhone Game of the Year and this year it was Tiny Tower by NimbleBot. Although I’ve tried to limit the number of games I have on my iPhone I decided if Apple said this was their game of the year then I definitely had to give it a try. Read more…
